The Avery Trial: Episode 14 - The Crime Scene is "Secure"
In this episode, we hear from Lt. Brett Bowe. He's the guy who was in charge of the perimeter security at the Avery Salvage Yard after Teresa's car was found.
It's a 40-acre property. Unless you had someone standing every few feet, someone could have snuck in right?
We learn how Bowe had set up a search system and how the property was locked down. Not to mention, we hear that Manitowoc County officers, James Lenk and Andrew Colborn - who had BOTH testified in Avery's civil lawsuit, were ALSO involved in this investigation even though it was supposed to be handed over to a different county. Why were people who had a direct stake in the outcome of Steven's legal lawsuit, also involved in a case where he was being looked at for murder? Sounds a little more than fishy.
Next episode preview:Deputy Peter O’Connor, Sgt. Jason Orth, and Deputy Inspector Todd Hermann—all Manitowoc County officers—all involved in the RAV4 discovery on Nov 5.
